Notes: Sidney Hall was a mapmaker and engraver for various booksellers and publishers. When he died in 1831, his wife Selina Hall took over the engraving and management of the business until her death in 1853. Selina Hall prepared new maps and re-issued some of her husband's earlier maps published in his name. Many maps signed "S. Hall" are attributed to Selina Hall.Notes below neat line: "Published by A. & C. Black" "Engraved by Sidney Hall."
